mc_PuP Applications
Play-along/Sing-along, Play/Sing-along with Music, Wearable Audio
mc_PuP is designed for musicians, vocalists, and audio enthusiasts who need portable, high-quality sound solutions in any setting. Whether you’re practicing, performing, or experimenting with sound, mc_PuP provides seamless, uncompressed audio that adapts to your needs.
Play-along/Sing-along
In this application, the electric guitar is connected
to Line In, and the mic connects to Mic In. Because the Line In path has up to 12dB of gain, the guitar signal can be easily gained up to Line level. Since there is no cancellation of common-mode noise on Line In, it is important to use a good quality guitar cable. Line Out connects to the RCA inputs of the stereo amplifier (which you can't see in the photos).

Play/Sing-along With Music
With your voice, or a mic'ed up piano or other instrument like the electric guitar connected to the Mic In port, you can use the mc_PuP to accompany stereo program material on the Line In port to practice and create your own unique take on work by the artists you love. In the photos, the player has his phone as the music source, which is linked to the mc_PuP through an Aluratek Bluetooth receiver. The piano is mic'ed, and the player listens to the mix through over-the-ear headphones connected to the Line Out port of the mc_PuP.
Wearable Audio?
A velcro strap (see Accessories page) around the middle of the handheld mixer or effects device allow it to be tied to the belt, a microphone stand, or the forearm, as in this case.
